Kelvin and the others tore through their attackers, weapons glinting as the ground became soaked in blood and littered with corpses.
The air hung heavy with the copper scent of blood, the night sky still, with no breeze to offer relief.
Alex straightened when she saw three figures emerge, their henchmen already dead at their feet.
These three had different auras, almost creeping her out. 'They felt like how we used to be back at the training facility,' she thought, disgust rising in her chest.
"Now that I think about it, they stink like those people. Their eyes are dead and emotionless like ours were back then," Damien commented, his hand gripping tightly around his scalpel.
" It's disgusting,'' Alex muttered, her face scrunched up in distaste.
"Then we purge them from this world. Be careful," Kelvin warned as he slipped on his punching rings.
