The noise of colliding attacks alerted the guests in the neighbouring rooms making them come out to see what was going on.
-What is going on here?
A handsome man asked.
-Young master, the Young lady from the Han family had a reservation for this room but it was canceled by her servant so the room became open.
The restaurant manager started to explain.
-So I gave this room to other customers when they arrived but then young lady Han and her friends arrived demanding this room and when I told her that it was already occupied she barged in here and started to quarrel with the guests and just now she even attacked one of them, fortunately, the guest was able to defend himself and asked me just now to call the guards.
The manager finished the whole story.
-Thank you.
The man said and turned to the young girl from the Han family.
-Han Jing, you have a lot of guts to start trouble in my restaurant.
The man said in a cold voice.
-But…
The girl wanted to say something but never got the chance to finish her sentence.
-But what?
The man asked angrily.
-You dare to come to my place, start trouble, and even try to kill one of my guests.
I always knew you were a trouble maker but this time you dug your own grave.
The man said coldly.
-Call the guards as the client instructed.
The manager bowed and left to notify the guards that their presence was required.
-I am Jun Sen the owner of this restaurant.
The man introduced himself to Paul and his companions with a slight bow.
-Please accept my deepest apologies for this incident.
He said sincerely.
Paul said couping his hands in a greeting.
-My name Is Paul Marshal, It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance.
Paul said couping his hands in a greeting.
-As for apologies then I believe that a certain young lady should be apologizing.
He said coldly.
The girl shuddered when he mentioned her but remained silent.
She knew that she was in trouble but her family would help her and she didn't want to give Paul the satisfaction of hearing her apologies.
A moment later two guards and an officer arrived at the scene.
-Lord Jun, your manager told us that you require our presence, can you explain what is the matter?
The officer asked respectfully.
A young lady Han attacked one of my customers intending to kill and said the customer wished to press charges.
Jun Sen explained the situation.
-Are there any witnesses to this?
The officer asked as he would have to present some testimony for the judge.
-There are more than enough witnesses and I have two slaves here who can testify under the contract order.
Paul said.
Han Jing just wanted to say that her friends could testify that it wasn't true and that she was provoked, turned pale once again.
The slave's testimony was a piece of solid evidence and she would be unable to get out of this with her friend's help alone.
Just as she was about to ask her friends to notify her family about the matter she heard the voice she didn't want to hear right now.
-Jing! What the hell did you do this time?
An angry male voice was heard.
It belonged to a man in his twenties judging by the looks and if his voice was full of anger then his face looked like he was about to tear someone to shreds with his bare hands.
The man arrived next to them shortly after the question resounded.
-Brother Sen please accept my apologies for my sister's behaviour.
The man said bowing his head to Jun Sen.
-Brother Hao It is not me that your sister insulted and attacked but the customer of my restaurant and he wishes to press charges against her since she used a deadly spell.
The owner of the restaurant explained the situation.
Hearing this Han Hao looked at Paul who was seriously pissed at the moment.
Not only was his meal interrupted so he was still hungry but he was attacked and insulted.
Not to mention all the unwanted attention that he received.
-Young man can you please drop the charges?
I swear to you that My sister will be punished for what she did but please don't take her life just because she is a spoiled brat.
The man pleaded with Paul.
-That spoiled brat wanted to take my life, so tell me why exactly should I not want hers in return?
Paul asked without any emotion in his voice.
This was a hard question since it was normal for anyone to want to kill someone who tried to kill them.
Han Jing could not believe what she was hearing, not only did her oldest brother apologize, but even pleaded for her life with this man.
-Brother what…
She didn't even finish her sentence before a loud slap was heard and she was sent flying by her brother until she hit the wall and fell to the floor.
When she shakily stood up her left cheek was swollen and her lip started to bleed.
-Shut up, you fucking disgrace of a sister.
Her brother roared at her.
Everyone was surprised at his outburst.
-I'm not trying to save your worthless life, I want to see how our parents will make you pay for this, not to mention Grandma and Grandpa, they will skin you alive for this mess.
He said through his clenched teeth.
Han Hao took a deep breath to calm himself before speaking to Paul again.
-I'm sorry for this unsightly display of mine, I just lost control for a while.
-I can understand your feelings.
Paul said calmly.
-I'm willing to let your sister go despite her attempt on my life but under one condition.
He said.
Hearing Han Hao's words just now it would be more painful for the young idiot to suffer the punishment from her family instead of a quick death by beheading.
-Please state your condition.
Han Hao said calmly with a bit of relief in his voice.
-I will be staying in this city for around two months and in that time I do not want to see her again.
Paul stated.
This was a good deal for all sides and it allowed all of them to save face.
-I will personally make sure that she will not leave the house for the next couple of months.
That is if she will still be alive after our family is done with her.
Han Hao promised couping his hands.
-Thank you for showing mercy to that disgrace over there.
Paul nodded.
-Since the matter is resolved now, please allow me to get a new meal for you all, on the house as an apology for this incident.
Jun Sen said and ordered the manager to prepare a new set of dishes for Paul and his companions.
-Thank you for coming even though you won't be arresting anyone.
He said to the guards.
-It's our duty lord Jun.
The officer cooped his hands and left with his subordinates.
He was actually happy as he didn't want to deal with the Hao family if he had to arrest their daughter.
Han Hao apologized to Paul once again before taking his sister and leaving while scolding her.
All of the friends that Han Jing brought with her left a long time ago praying to all the gods that their families would not learn that they were with Han Jing when this disaster happened or they would also be punished.
A few moments later Paul and the ladies were able to enjoy the new meal in peace and this time no one disturbed them.
