LUELLA ARCHED her brows as she stared at the door.
"Louisa?" She muttered to herself. Rising from the bed, she walked towards the door. With tilted head she stood behind Irene.
"What is wrong with Louisa?"
"We don't know the details, but a maid from the dukedom called the office, demanding that you come back home. They said Louisa was found in a puddle of blood"
Worry spiked through Luella, and she turned to get her things. "What? Blood?" She repeated, rushing to arrange herself.
"What about mother? Where is she?"
"We don't know… We didn't ask."
Clearly seeing her worry. Irene gave her space. She, too, had a worried look on her face.
