ULRIC LOOKED down at the envelope in his hands. Nodding to himself, he placed it in his pocket and spoke, "I will deliver it to the lady, tomorrow."
Luella smiled. "That would be nice."
He nodded, acknowledging her request.
"Ah! Before I forget, Mr. Faceless…"
"Yes, my lady?"
"I need you to check something."
"Which is?"
"My father's office."
Ulric said nothing as he listened to what she was asking. "According to Lewin his aide, there is a hidden safe in the room. It is white."
"I should break it open and see what's inside."
"No, don't do that, yet. I just want you to see if it is real." She stated, lightly tapping her hand on the window.
