CHAPTER 6
Luna's POV
(I lay on my bed wondering about the answer I gave to Andre's question… Do I still love Xavier? He left me without any reason and he didn't bother reaching out to me despite knowing I was pregnant for him and the next thing I saw was his engagement stories over the news.. I suffered all alone and the most painful part was the person he was engaged to happen to be my so called best friend in institution.. I was so furious that I almost committed suicide, I was frustrated, broken, traumatized especially been alone and disowned by my family. All these memories flashing in my heads drift me slowly to sleep.)
Gradually days turns to weeks and weeks to month… Xavier's Mom has been giving him information about his son and lover. Dami stayed in Country A all through the month as he had to represent Xavier in the Franch company ceremony.
Although workload at the clinic has been abit stressful, Luna was able to submit the documents to Dami's email address. She was still hoping to travel to Country D so as to see the CEO and appreciate him for his kind heartedness towards her and her son.
the weekend before Andre's birthday. Luna and Auntie May are seen discussing how to celebrate the little one.
Luna POV
(Andre's birthday always brings joy to my soul because I don't know who supplies the gifts but my son gets a whole lot of gifts item and cash.)
Auntie May please can you order the cake on Saturday so it be delivered by Monday morning? I asked Auntie May while she was listing down the items for purchase..
Of course Luna, I already ordered it.. it will be delivered in his school on Monday morning..
Andre comes into the house looking so excited… One thing about him is when he is happy!He radiates the joy all over him, he is so cheerful and cute like a pumpkin…
Mummy will you be at my birthday party? He asked coiling himself into my embrace!! Yes my darling I will be there so you can make a wish.. I replied cuddling him…
Mummy will I get to see my Daddy on that day?? I panicked again…
I thought he wouldn't talk about his father again.. Andre my child, I haven't spoken to your Daddy yet but if I do, I will invite him over!! Is that Okay? Yes ma'am, Grandma will you come to my party? Of course dear child… I will be there with you..I love you mummy, I love you Grandma he replied smiling… We love you too Andre.. We both replied in unison.
Auntie May POV
I was tensed as to how will Luna react if she definitely sees Xavier on that day… let me talk to Xavier myself…(dailing Xavier's phone number, he picks up after several rings)
Hello Mum, how are you doing he asked in a very calm tone, (I could tell from his tone he was resting or thinking..) Xavier am fine.. how are you and hope you have been communicating when your siblings? Yes Mum he replied, they will be coming back home this weekend for summer vacation. Very well, Hope you are aware what date it is on Monday? I asked.. Mum it's my son's birthday, I can't forget. He replied.. very well then.
Andre has requested of Luna today to ensure his Dad attends his party at his school.. He has been making fusses about seeing you lately. Do you have any plans?? I asked hoping for a good idea..
Not yet but I will come up with something, but then Mum if I'm to come there Luna doesn't have to see me, can you make that possible?
He asked! I will try to make her delay for while so you can have some time with the boy. I replied feeling relieved.. Okay mum.. bye for now.. Bye Son.
