"That would be all, I believe?" Eva asked as she dropped the item into the hip in the shopping cart.
Gregory, who had been quietly pushing the shopping around slowly looked up at Eva at her when he heard her voice.
He didn't know what to reply because he didn't know if what she had picked was enough or not.
But they looked enough; the items were almost blocking his view; it had to be enough.
"I don't know...but I think it should be enough. Thank you, Ms. E-"
"Thank you for your patronage, kind sir, have a great day. Please proceed to pay," Eva nodded at him and gently walked off.
Her face was beaming with a satisfactory smile. She had successfully executed her plan, and from now on, wherever she met him, she was going to give him the same treatment, distance, and professionalism.
