Aiden sat in his room, alone.

He stared up at the clock, it was past midnight.

He had long returned Candy to her mother, and now, like every other night, he was sitting on his bed, watching the hands of time move.

They moved with no hesitation; just like, they've been moving for the last three years. Time didn't give a fuck about your situation; it'll never stop for anyone, always rubbing it in your face that you were the loser.

They say time heals, but Aiden was starting to question that phrase. If time healed, why does he have to suffer every night?

In the past, he thought he'd never get over the memories of his mother's tortures, but he did. He did it with Ariel's help, but he never imagined that the person who healed his childhood trauma would be the person to give him a life-long trauma.

He never slept.

He just kept staring at the clock until he passed out from tiredness. He knew he needed to see the psychologist, but he wouldn't.
