Ken walked right into her house without an explanation, he paused in front of her for a second, "You said nothing to them, right?" He asked in a whisper.
Jess gripped her fingers around the edge of her door and looked away from him, "If that's why you're here, you can go back, I didn't say anything," Jess replied in a quiet voice then went to close the door on him but he held her arm and chuckled, "Don't be petty, Jessica," he patted her head and then continued to walk into her living room.
Jess stood with her mouth open for a few seconds before she frowned and she shut the door.
She was being petty right? Great.
The one who left a woman in his house and disappeared isn't petty, but the woman who refused a man into her house is being petty?
She balled her fist and walked into her living room.
