Aiden followed Carla into the office. His body was present, but his mind and heart were with Ariel.
He was restless, wondering what she'd be deciding in her mind right then.
"Relax, Boss. This doesn't change anything, she's just angry, she's not going to-"
"I love her, Carla, don't you understand? What if she decides to divorce me? I'm still trying to amend my relationship with her because of how I treated her in the beginning, and now I messed it all up. I can't live without her, Carla...I'm really hopeless right now...if she leaves, I'll never love again, that means I want right, every woman is like her..." He slumped back against the chair and covered his face with his hands.
"I disagree, Aiden. I'm nothing like Emily, and you know Ariel is nothing like that...you did fall in love with her, right?" Carla questioned from the chair beside Aiden.
