Kenji and the rest of his group had been shoved into the back of one of the vans they 'borrowed.'
Everyone was staring at Kenji angrily, he was the one who had told them all to surrender without even putting up a fight.
There were four gang members in there with them and they were all heavily armed, even with his powers, Kenji was sure that he wouldn't be able to take them on.
His swords had also been siezed and all Kenji wondered was how he would make it out of this mess.
The Yakuza was just a general name all gangs used across Japan so Kenji still wasn't sure what gang it was, if it turned out to be a powerful one then they were cooked.
Kenji also had no idea how many of the gang members were superhumans, so he just couldn't charge in and hope to win like some main character.
'I need to go about this smartly, I can't just stay here and wait for them to do whatever they get want with us.' Kenji thought with a hand on his chin.
"We are here." One of the gang members said, they opened the back of the van and forced everyone out.
Kenji stared at his surroundings, the place looked severely unhygienic, there was smoke from different kinds of outlets all around them.
The pungent smell of piss and shit also wafted into the air and the never ending sounds of dogs barking could be heard.
Kenji could feel goosebumps all around his body but that was cut short by a loud voice wondering what was going on.
"Kachita, you think you can just bring anyone into my yard, what are these kids and vehicles doing here?" A middle aged man with a bald head said angrily.
Despite his anger, his voice remained neutral, a true testament to his emotional maturity.
"Boss, we found these high school kids already camping at BuyRite when we got there, we came back to teach them a lesson when we found out they looted the place and were already on the move, we seized their technology, food, clothes and the vehicles, we are sure these would help to expand our gang." the leader of the group that had captured Kenji said.
"Hmm, I always knew you could get the job done, with the ammount of food here, I am sure we can feed our people for some time before we start planting." The main leader said, he was no fool and was fully aware of the zombie apocalypse and it's effects.
"We also seized these weapons from that one boss." Another man said, he presented Kenji's short and long sword to his boss, making his jaws drop.
"These are very high quality blades, I'm not sure anyone has forged something like this before, where did you get this boy?" The man asked, he was a katana enthusiasist and with a single look he could tell that these swords could slice through almost any metal.
"My ancestor was a samurai, those are family heirlooms, I took them out when I noticed the ruckus." Kenji lied through the skin of his teeth.
He couldn't exactly say that he came back from the dead with two swords and an unknown system.
"Fascinating, what is your name boy?" The leader said, he had never seen any swords like these.
"Haruta Sir, Kenji Haruta." Kenji answered honestly, they were all on their knees before the leader and some had already even begun crying.
"Are any of you superhumans?" The leader said, shocking Kenji and the others, Kenji was amazed with the way people were quickly finding out about superpowers without any help like his system.
"Yes, Kenji and Zack are." A girl from the back said, earning a stern look from Kenji.
Kenji knew there was nothing good that would come out from revealing his powers and this girl had just spoilt it all.
"Excellent, take the girls away, you can have as much fun with them as you want, they should all be legal anyway." The leader deduced perfectly.
Kenji was the youngest member of his class, thanks to his intellect, he had managed to skip several classes so all his classmates were at least 18 or more.
The gang members did as instructed, making sure to grope and strip the girls as they carried them.
"Kenji, help!" One of the girls screamed but Kenji remained indifferent, she was one of Aya's friends and if the gang members didn't kill her, he would do so himself.
"Now as for the rest of you, you will be put through serious training for the next 1 week, if you don't become a superhuman after that, then you can just join the regular foot soldiers." The leader said, he snapped his fingers and the remaining members of Kenji's group were carted away except he and Zack.
"As for you two, your training would be different, I will be training you all personally to become my personal enforcers." Mr.Muzuki, the gang leader said.
"Now, can you tell me what are your powers?" Mr.Muzuki said with a smirk on his face.
There was a certain superpower he had been searching for and he was yet to find it.
"I can shoot lightning out of my hands." Zack said honestly, he didn't see any point in lying and he definitely didn't want to wait for Kenji, Kenji had gotten them into enough trouble already.
Kenji knew he couldn't say anything stupid, if he lied that he could shoot lightning out of his hands too then a day would surely come he wouldn't be able to copy Zack's powers.
"I can see a few seconds into the future." Kenji said, piquing Mr. Muzuki's interest, he had never heard of such a unique power.
The majority of powers his gang members had awakened were all elemental and he was already getting bored of that.
"Show me." Mr.Muzuki said before throwing Kenji's sword towards him.
