I did not want to read it in front of the girls but Lucy who was sitting close to me caught a glimpse of Justin's name written as the sender. She insisted that I check it out, suggesting to me that it might be urgent.
While looking at Lucy's devious smile, which indicated that she wanted to know what was inside the message Justin had sent me, I read the message out loud.
In the message, Justin asked me on a date. He said that he had booked us a nice French restaurant in town, and even mentioned the time for the date which is 8 pm in the night. I thought that was a bit late for having dinner but I was still excited about the date.
Lucy Jumped in joy for me, going on my first date since joining the college, Maya was smiling without saying any words after hearing the news and Rika was neutral, I could not tell at that time what she was thinking.
Her mood is more calm now but not calm enough to suggest she fully supports my decision to go out with Justin.
