Chapter 52 - Chapter 14: Last ace of Nightshinsthal Bloodline

In the nearby forest of Mount Zhīshān, Kanji found the child, a one-year-old girl who bore a striking resemblance to Reinhardt. Her golden eyes gleamed in the soft light filtering through the trees, a clear sign of her Divine lineage.

In the middle of the mountain, the Kanji disciple, Zyqnax, materialized, having sensed her master's presence. She made her way towards Kanji, her eyes filled with both curiosity and awe as she recalled the shaking of the mountains earlier. She spoke, her voice filled with a hint of wonder, "Master, I felt the tremors. Was that your doing?"

As Kanji confirmed that he was responsible for the tremors, Zyqnax's gaze shifted towards the baby they had agreed to take care of. Her eyes widened slightly, her expression a mixture of surprise and curiosity. She glanced at the child, her voice laced with a hint of tenderness, "Will we really be taking care of this child?"

Kanji nodded in affirmation, his gaze fixed on the infant. "Yes," he confirmed, his voice firm and resolute. "We will be taking care of her."

With a firm yet gentle tone, Kanji addressed Zyqnax, "She needs a name." He paused for a moment, contemplating in silence before continuing, "What should we call her?"

A moment of contemplation passed as Zyqnax mused over a suitable name. Then, a flicker of inspiration crossed her face, and she suggested, "How about... kiana?"

As Zyqnax proposed the name "Kiana," Kanji considered the name and its significance. After a brief moment, in agreement, "Kiana. It's a beautiful name."

Over the course of 15 years, both Zyqnax and Kiana matured. Zyqnax had grown to be 172.72 cm tall, while Kiana had reached a height of 175.26 cm, displaying her own growth. They trained under Kanji, and their personalities developed. Kiana had become a cheerful and strong young woman, her determination and resilience evident in her training under both her mentors.

Since Kanji arrived, the Zhīshān Mountain had undergone significant changes. What was once a breeding ground for monsters had transformed into a place of peace and tranquility. The once fearsome reputation of the mountain had been replaced by an atmosphere of harmony, all thanks to Kanji's influence.

While Kanji was out, Zyqnax and Kiana found themselves inside the temple that Kanji had built in the mountain. The duo was in the midst of preparing a meal together. Kiana, being her playful self, couldn't help but tease Zyqnax, her voice filled with a touch of mischief.

"You know, Zyqnax, if you were any slower, our food would be as cold as the snow outside," Kiana teased, her voice carrying a hint of lighthearted banter.

Zyqnax rolled her eyes playfully, her expression a mix of annoyance and amusement at Kiana's remark. "Oh, please," she retorted, a smile tugging at the corners of her mouth. "At least I'm not the one who keeps burning the rice."

Kiana let out a huff, feigning indignation. "Hey, that was one time! And it was an accident!" she protested, her tone laced with a hint of mock defensiveness.

Kiana, her curiosity piqued, decided to shift the topic of conversation. "Hey, Zyqnax," she asked, her tone casual, "do you know how tall Master Kanji is?"

Zyqnax, a hint of admiration in her voice, responded with a touch of respect, "Kanji-Master is 182.34 centimeters tall."

Kiana's curiosity didn't stop there. She followed up with another question, her expression curious, "And how long have you been studying under Under Master Kanji?"

Zyqnax paused for a moment, her mind recalling the years passed. "Let's see," she mused, her voice contemplative. "I've been with Master Kanji for many years."

Zyqnax continued, her voice filled with gratitude and respect. "Master Kanji has taught me so much. His knowledge is vast, and I've learned a lot from him. And my ability to copy skills? It has been invaluable."

Kiana, never one to pass up an opportunity for teasing, interjected with a hint of playful banter. "Yeah, you can copy skills all you want, but still, you're no match for Master Kanji," she chimed in, her voice tinged with a hint of mockery.

Zyqnax shot Kiana a knowing smile, her eyes sparkling with a mixture of mock irritation and amusement. "Oh, hush," she retorted, her voice playful. "One day, I'll surpass him. Just you wait."

In the center of the temple, they found a beautiful pond they had created. Zyqnax and Kiana sat in the peaceful surroundings, basking in the tranquility of the moment. With bowls of rice and other meals in front of them, they began to enjoy their shared meal, their eyes occasionally glancing at the soothing waters of the pond.

The atmosphere was relaxed, and the conversation flowed effortlessly between them. Kiana, not missing an opportunity to tease, glanced at Zyqnax and spoke with a smirk. "You know, this pond is almost as beautiful as my cooking skills."

Zyqnax rolled her eyes, a smile playing on her lips. "Oh, please," she retorted, her tone brimming with playful sarcasm. "Your cooking skills, you say? More like burning skills."
