Brooke waited all night into the next morning for Thane to return. However, she didn't expect him to come back with the man from earlier who had choked her out, and introduce him as his younger brother.
"This is the other Grayson son. You do not need to care about remembering his name, just know that from today onwards he'll be acting as a temporary manager for you." Thane announced, at the dining table.
Brooke blinked twice, "Your brother?" She gasped, and immediately started to straightened her dress under the table. She turned to Thane, "I never knew you had a brother."
"It's not important." He replied.
She stole a glance at Matthew, 'Now that I really look at him, they do look similar, but how come he doesn't look as ferocious as he did yesterday?' she wondered, noticing the tamed look in his eye.
Matthew caught her staring at him and parted his lips to say something, but quickly shut himself up when his older brother shot him a glance.
