Serena marched down the stairs the moment Gilbert took his leave. Upon reaching the living room, the first thing she noticed was the gifts spread out on the table, and the document next to them.
"Cassie what was that man doing here?" She asked, Cassie popped her head up and cocked a grin at Serena.
"It's a good thing you're here. Take a look at all these gifts the Grayson heir just sent me!" She announced, picking up a shoe box, her eyes gleaming with excitement.
Serena gasped and covered her mouth in awe, as Cassie took out a pair of sleek black heels with red bottoms. She rushed over to touch it, but Cassie swatted her touch away.
"Not so fast, there's something I want you to sign first mother." She said, placing the shoes on her laps. She picked up the document and passed it to Serena.
"Open the last page, the bottom right, sign under your name and give it back to me." Cassie said.
