"Here, don't they look identical?" Serena asked, placing both bags side by side in front of Cassie. Her friend had finished making the replica and even Cassie couldn't tell the difference.
"You're right." An idea popped in her head, "Why don't we give that wench the fake one instead?"
But Serena refused, "I know Evelyn, she'll have it appraised first, if she finds out it's a fake I'll be in loads of trouble."
Cassie frowned, but accepted the fake, after all what mattered most was that she once had the real, and no one would ever know the truth.
Serena turned to leave, but Cassie held her back by the wrist, "Listen here, this will be the last time you ever threaten me. Don't think for a second that I don't have dirt against you too." She spat out with fire in her eyes.
Her mother faked a smile, "Cassie darling, you know that I would never reveal your secret to anyone, you just needed a slight push."
