When Brooke arrived at the manor, she could feel the absence of Hannah's presence. She tried calling her a few times, but she wasn't answering. She wanted someone to talk to, to confide in about Thane, and how to win him back. She was just about to call Matthew, when her phone rang.
She reluctantly picked it up, only to hear Anna's voice.
"This is my cousin's wife, Brooke, right?" Anna asked over the phone.
"Who is this?"
"It's Anna."
Brooke felt her stomach churn. Maybe she wasn't completely rid of the Grayson family.
"Um, my husband isn't at home right now-"
"Don't worry. You're the one I want to speak with, you see, I have something to tell you." She said, "It's about Matthew, and how he hurt your husband. And me."
Hurt her husband? Matthew hurt Thane?
"I don't understand, what are you talking about?" she furrowed her brows, trying to make sense out of what the young girl was saying.
