Brooke stole glances at Thane, who sat in the middle of what seemed to be a drinking competition between Danny and Lance. She frowned, when she checked the time, and realized it had been a whole half hour since they arrived at the bar.
"You really want to be with him that badly?" Jessica asked, pouring herself another shot.
Brooke mindlessly replied, "Yes."
Jessica's countenance fell, she felt guilty for keeping them apart, but just like the others she feared that Brooke was not a good influence on Thane.
Or rather, she made him throw away his cautious side.
And more than that, Jessica wanted some alone time to discuss something with Brooke, without her scary husband hovering around.
