Mallory's face burned with bashfulness when Thane stood in front of her. She knew the sort of personality he had, and was surprised he stopped to hear her out.
She stole a glance over her shoulder at the woman seated in his car, and felt her heart break.
It must've been because of her, he caved.
Realizing that only made her want to run up to her room and cry, but she planted her feet firmly into the ground, determined to say what was on her mind.
"What do you want?" He asked civilly.
She lowered her head, avoiding his piercing gaze.
"I'm sorry for causing a scene at your father's birthday yesterday." She started off.
Thane did not respond, he didn't know why she was saying that to him and not to his father.
He glared at her, somewhat disappointed. When he meet her in the past, she was calm to be around, and he did not mind having conversations with her.
