As hamo and maria look at the beautiful ember rain from the defeated golem, Maria invites hamo into her home once again,
"Now hamo listen to me, let me tell you about the blessings of this world, they're the powers that your bracelet can hold, that is if you can even attain them" she says in doubt,
She continues "there are 6 blessings that i know of, all held by powerful people…or things,
1- the blessing of power and rage
2- the blessing of haste
3- the blessing of purity
4- the blessing of calm
5- the blessing of void
6- and lastly the blessing of knowledge.
These are the ones that i know of, there might be hidden blessings that even mortal don't know about, i know that the blessing of calm is in the ruins of records, these ruins have a stone that records all deaths of this world, it's said to be so ancient that it was made the day earth was made, be careful hamo, i don't know who or what holds the blessing, You might find yourself a grave and lay in it, if you're not careful."
Hamo eats and rests for a day at the witch's house and after, he heads south to the ruins of records, it will take him 10 days on foot,
Hamo walks on the main road and whistles and sings out of boredom until 2 bandits ambush him,
"HAHAHAHA are you lost ? How about you give us your belongings and we'll spare you" they say menacingly,
Hamo backs off immediately and unsheathes his sword,
"I will not be giving you anything you bastards!" He yells
The bandits get their short swords out, they're wearing brown tattered clothes
"You'll regret you crossed our path" they yell as they run towards hamo,
Hamo closes his eyes and summons the feeling of the white flames and immediately his sword glows with faint white flames, He smiles knowing how powerful his sword has become
One of them tries to slash at him and he blocks it with the sword and the bandits sword immediately shatters, the 2nd bandit sees that and stops charging,
the other bandit jumps back next to him, "what the hell was that, my sword shattered immediately, he's using magic, something i've never seen before" he says in worry
"Back off now and i'll spare you, i don't want to kill you today" hamo yells, knowing he has never killed humans before
The threat works and the bandits run away and yell "You will regret this"
Hamo regrets letting them escape "oh man this is going to bite me in the ass isn't it?" He says to himself,
After the flames disappear from his sword he falls to one knee with heavy breathing, "using these powers is still very hard, i need to get better" he says
And after many hours he runs into a small village , this time it's not destroyed, hamo gets happy,
"I found my food and water for the day!!" He yells as he jumps of happiness towards the village.
