I woke up early the next morning and dressed. As I stood under the shower, my thoughts were haunted by that of my family. I couldn't stop thinking about Kieran and Hayley. How were they doing? Were they still in Kàgrur or had they returned after hearing of the duel?
I had tried to call her yesterday, but I couldn't reach her. Taking a deep breath, I ran my fingers through my hair, washing it before finishing my bath and leaving the bathroom. I put on the long white gown I found in the wardrobe, and after some time, Imani and Poppy arrived.
Imani carried a tray of bread, avocado toast, cheese, and tea, while Poppy followed behind, carrying nothing.
I forced a smile on my face when I saw them and quickly sat down on the chair.
"We thought you would have breakfast now," Poppy said.
"And I thought I would meet everyone downstairs to eat breakfast together," I said.
