As the car drove down the road, I couldn't help but look out the window. My eyes fell on the hospital where I often visited to heal the wounded werewolves. Most of the time, I would sneak there when Jack started pissing me off. There was one time when he even tried to marry me off to another Alpha. My only saving grace was that my father was alive then, and he stopped Jack before he could send me out of the pack.
Tristan's hand touched mine, and I turned to him. He pulled me closer, and I rested my head on his chest. It didn't take long before we arrived at the Dhùtur pack. The Dhùtur warriors roamed around the border. Some were in their wolf forms, marking the territory. Others were in their human forms, holding guns and bullets laced with wolfsbane.
