Chapter 99
Aaliyah
The pain was sharp, burning through me like open flames. It didn't feel pleasurable like when Tristan bit me. I felt nothing but pain. Her fangs sank further, drinking blood from my veins.
Hayley rushed to me, ripping Amara away. I stumbled back, quickly getting on my feet. I pressed a hand to my wound, eyes widening as I stared at Amara's bloodlust-filled gaze.
Amara laughed, running her tongue over her blood-smeared lips. "You wanted information from me, right? Come closer, and you'll get more answers."
Hayley grabbed her neck, pinning her against the wall.
"You should know you're only alive because we want answers. Once we find you useless, you'll be dead," Hayley said, releasing her neck.
"Till then," Amara flashed her a smile.
When we arrived in my room, Hayley helped treat my wound, and I sat down at the edge of the bed.
"How are you feeling?" she asked.
