Chapter 31
Aliyah
I ran out of the tent, slightly aware that I was being watched by people. But that was nothing to me with the pain I was feeling now. My wolf was at the surface again as tonight was full moon. I continued running, feeling my body warm up in the cold night. My body slowly began to change, with my bones cracking.
"Ali," Tristan's voice echoed from a distance.
I turned to Tristan, feeling my vision become sharper in the night. The full moon shone upon me, wrapping around me like a blanket.
"What is wrong with you?" he asked.
I opened my mouth to speak, but it felt like there was a lump in my throat.
Then I turned and looked around the forest, bolting again. As my feet carried me some distance, I felt a bone in my knee break.
