Why was she here? I turned to Tristan and the others. They all looked as shocked as I did. Amara wasn't the only person here; she came with others. They were werewolves. I could feel their wolves from here.
I stiffened. My head turned to the door, which was wide open. She'd broken the spell I had cast on the house.
I turned back to Amara. She was dressed in a long black coat and black gloves.
"What did I miss?" Amara asked, a smile playing on her lips.
Breath in. I felt a burning pain in my chest as Amara strode forward. Terror was partly what I felt. A sense of déjà vu swept through me. I remembered the dream I had. The only difference was that she didn't came with the ancestor witches, but werewolves. My breathing hitched.
I wanted to run. I wanted to scream, but all my strength was drained.
Amara laughed softly. "How brave were you when you lied to me about Aaliyah's death?"
