After returning from the ride, I took a cold shower and changed into comfortable clothes. I had prepared ash mixed with other items that I would drop around the house for protection. I was doing this to prevent any outside witch from entering the house.
The doctor had told me that I would go into labor soon. Tristan left not too long ago to find another doctor to help with the delivery. Hayley, however, was still with the witches. Amara refused to believe that I was dead unless she saw my body. Even though Hayley told her the burial was over, Amara still refused to believe. That was the main reason I was doing a protection spell around the house.
Amara could come at any time, and I didn't want to risk anything. The doctor in the basement was forced by a guard to explain what we would need for the delivery since it was going to be a water birth.
