Chapter 65
Aaliyah
The loud laughter from the movie woke me from sleep, and it took me more than a minute to remember where I was.
Slowly sitting up in the chair, I looked at the TV, which was playing Hayley's favorite movie. Both of us had fallen asleep while watching the film.
It had been two days since the incident that occurred here, and Hayley had received a breakup message from Noah, stating he could no longer continue his relationship with her as Tristan had been on the hunt for him.
She'd cried and then cursed Tristan before insulting Noah for breaking up with her. After that, she had been fine. I looked at her sleeping face, which was buried in the bowl of popcorn.
I pushed the covers aside as I stood up from the ground, groaning. Staring at the clock, I saw that it was evening. I needed to get to the house to make dinner for Tristan before he returned.
