After Sarah cast the cloaking spell on me, I grabbed some of my clothes, and Hayley helped me escape. As we continued to drive down the quiet road, I couldn't stop thinking about what Tristan might do when he realizes I'm gone. Drawing in a deep breath, I reminded myself that he wouldn't be able to find me this time.
I didn't even realize how long we had been driving until we made it to the airport. Once we arrived, I bid her goodbye and left for Alaska.
Boarding a cab the driver drove to the pack house. I took a deep breath as I stepped out of the car. Lucky for me, I spotted Austin, the new Alpha, standing at the entrance of the house, discussing something with an Elder.
"Look who's here," the Elder said, raising his head. "If it isn't the traitor."
Austin looked up, and when he saw me, he hurried over, wrapping his arms around me.
"Austin," I breathed out.
