Furious, I reached for another witch, grabbing her neck tightly. She gasped, struggling to summon her magic.
"Where is my wife?" I demanded. "If you don't tell me where my wife is right now, I will kill you and your witches."
"You will have her when we're done with the spell," Amara said.
I frowned, jaw clenched as I glared at Amara. "I'm sure you know that I don't like being told what to do. I need the mother and child unharmed, or I will set this place on fire."
"The child is a threat to everyone," Amara said. "You shouldn't be surprised by this. You can bark all you want, but if anything happens to my witches, I will kill the mother and the child."
