"How is she still alive?" Tristan demanded, moving toward her.
Before he could reach her, I stood in front of Enola, blocking Tristan.
He scowled at me, his face turning a darker shade of red.
"You are not going to touch her," I said.
"She tried to kill you," Tristan said, gritting his teeth. "She poisoned you."
"I know," I said, "but we need her. She can help us."
"Nonsense!" he shouted, pushing me aside.
I growled, my hands changing into claws, and I charged at Tristan, pushing him against the wall. He breathed heavily as I stood in front of him, my eyes glowing yellow with anger.
"Why?" he asked. "Why do you still keep her alive?"
"She's a seer," I said. "I know a seer doesn't mean much to Lycans because the Elders consult the moon goddess instead, but a seer is important for wolves."
He frowned.
"She could help us predict this war and tell us where it's going," I said.
