"Careful," I said to the guards as they carried Tatiana's coffin inside her room. "You do not want to anger a witch in her sleep."
Once they placed her coffin next to her bed, I stared at the room, wondering what Tatiana would want. She had been asleep for a very long time—since the early 1900s. This was the longest they had spent asleep. What would Tatiana say when she woke up?
I could already feel the kind of anger she would have when she realized she had been asleep for a hundred years and so much had changed. Most especially the clothes for women. Would she get mad at the arrangement of the room?
