I woke up later than usual, feeling a little dizzy. After a few yawns, I sprang out of bed to get ready. I showered, dressed, and ate breakfast in my room.
Today, we would be driving out to the camp to hunt for vampires. The full moon was fast approaching, and this month, some youngsters would be preparing for their first shift. Tristan had assigned me to oversee that.
Tristan was standing near the car in the garage, and when he saw me approaching, he fell silent. His eyes roamed over me, and in the next moment, they were filled with lust. As I walked closer, he grabbed my waist, pinning me against the door.
"Be careful, Ali," he said. "With Vladimir around the corner, it's dangerous to even let you attend the hunt."
I nodded.
"Where's Kieran?" he asked.
"He left with Hayley and Lucian to the camp," I replied.
