Chapter 100
Aaliyah
As I moved around the house with Tristan, my heart raced as we searched for Kieran. Through our bond, I could feel Tristan's anger—it was as if he was ready to tear someone apart. Where was Kieran?
We had just left him in his crib before visiting Amara in the basement, and now he was gone. What made it even more frustrating was that he wasn't old enough to hear our call and come out from wherever he might be hiding. Was he even hiding? What if someone had taken him?
My heart sank at the thought.
"He has to be somewhere around here," I said, frustrated.
Tristan frowned deeply. "Someone must have taken him from his crib. Where were you?"
"I told you—I went with Hayley to visit Amara in the basement," I replied.
"Count yourself lucky if we find him in the house tonight," Tristan said.
