The lightning crackled as it collided with the swirling hurricane. The purple bolts lashed out like writhing vines, quickly binding and restraining the storm. The lightning's power was enough to prevent the hurricane from continuing its assault on Anos.
Hannah could sense the intensity of her attacks. She could hurt Anos, but she wasn't aiming to seriously harm him. That much was clear from the way she had handled the fight. However, she had one goal in mind: she wanted to force Anos to show his true power. Her curiosity was eating away at her.
He was obviously stronger than he let on, but why pretend to be weak? Why had he been hiding his abilities for so long? It didn't add up. There had to be a reason behind it. But now, after his bold counterattack, it seemed like whatever he was afraid of had been dealt with.
