Chapter 21 - Chapter 21: The Key to New Beginnings

There were a few more monsters before the conclusion of our voyage, such as the level 2 abyssian snake, which reminded me of my grandfather because he used it to teach me the fundamentals of blacksmithery on my first day of teaching.

This six-month period was mostly a waste of time for me since I did not have time to train my body, including the shadow steps, which would have alerted the strong monsters surrounding us on occasion and exacerbated our troubles.

Just before arriving in Faunara State, we had an unexpected encounter.

While travelling, a tribesman with a golden crest around his waist emerged in front of the waggon. He most likely came from a nearby nation within or to the left of the desert.

"I heard that the chosen one was on this journey, and I would like to see him and his star, as well as his special fighting skills."

Jisoo said, "We greet the Lord of Vespera. Unfortunately, we are unable to accomplish your request since he has not fully woken or received adequate training to stand in front of you.

The tribesman's eyes shone with a mix of disappointment and boredom. " Ah, so the old man was correct. Give this metal box to the chosen one and tell him to meet me when he's ready or within 10 years; otherwise, I'll hunt him down myself."

"Yes, Lord, just please be patient." Jisoo reacted while removing the box from him, but I was unaware of this because I was in the third carriage and not utilising Starforce vision.

That night, Jisoo filled me in on the circumstances of the meeting, which is how I learnt all of this information. Then, I tried to open the metal box.

[System: "You must have a key to open it."]

Of course, how could a box open regularly now? We need a goddamn key to open it, and this box doesn't even have a hole to place it in "great."

Jinsoo enquired, "What happened, young Lord? What's in it?"

"The box needs a key, and they did not tell which key to use or the content of this box."

"Don't worry, young lord, as after a few years you will meet him again and then he can tell you."

"Great" If I could have created a more sarcastic and irritated expression, I would have.

As we approached Faunara State, the scenery began to change. Rolling hills gave way to our destination's enormous urban. The city's magnificence was seen in the distance, its spires and towers sparkling in the sunlight.

We didn't take long to get to the capital city of Faunara, Thaloria.

The busy metropolis of Thaloria spread before us; it was a vast city with a mix of quatory areas that were well developed and others that were lush with vegetation, and as we approached the city's entrance,

The voyage had been hard, but it had healed my wounds from the loss of Grandpa Kaewon and given us a fresh opportunity. The carriage came to a stop in front of a spectacular estate when Minho approached us and stated,

"Aiden, you and your family may remain here for a day until you acquire your own house. This is an inn owned by my house, so don't worry about paying too much."

Then he took a moment to show a letter in his hand and remarked,

"In addition, I heard that your runestone shop is here, so most likely you will stay here in the city. As it will be difficult to find a private instructor here, I know a school called Matrix School that could teach your child the basics of the empire, and commoners can often enter who wish to attend any prestigious institutes in our country, since most Nobels provide private tutoring to their kids and commoners need a way to educate their children."

"Thank you very much, sir Jinsoo. I will remember this favour and will tell Minho that I am grateful he helped us at the lowest time and also took some risks as ell. As I already have the funds to settle here, you do not need to worry about my stay, but I will accept your offer since we need to finish arranging the house and it will take a few days."

Seraphina and Luna looked out of the carriage throughout the discourse, their huge eyes full of interest. Despite her poor communication skills and reserved personality, she rapidly became an inseparable member of our family.

During our journey, Seraphina and Luna got much closer to them than I did because I was mostly busy meditating to make it easier to make a core within my body.

Which a person achieves after crossing level 5, and that was the main reason I wasn't able to level up to level 6 because my body required a lot of training before being adapted to, as an immature body may be heavily damaged while attempting to make a core after level 5 at level 6.

"Is that the child with golden hair and black eyes found on the second carriage in the food container? She had grown a lot within just six months before she looked like she was about to die."

"Yes, sir, as Lina, my wife, has taken good care of her."

Then Jinsoo departed the inn as my entire family moved in with our belongings, where we were attempting to keep our belongings and relax while letting out a sigh as we had successfully escaped the Kurokage family at the moment and can now begin a new life with all we had.

Father placed the letter on a side table and turned to face his children, a proud smile on his face as he had saved us and is now ready to start his new life and career. Then, after a few moments, he said.

"I need to get to our market shop. There is someone I need to meet. "Do you want to join me, Dajit?"

"Yes, I would love to" because I have nothing else to do today and I am tired after 6 months in the carriage. Then we made our way through the bustling streets to the centre of the market, where the father's runestone shop was teeming with beastfolk and other races, largely humans like us.

Inside the shop—
