Sofia's POV
I was puzzled for a second. I couldn't make things sense. I looked around the area in fear, had no idea what was he about to do next. The female werewolf suddenly pulled me behind and stood in front of him.
"You're not doing that, Chris!!!" He scoffed sarcastically and got closer to her.
"Why not? This is none of your business. Besides, it's been a while since I had encountered with a human. Now why don't you just shut up and let me talk to her?!" The atmosphere was getting intense, I could see the rage from each and every werewolf. I guess this bad werewolf made them pissed off so much just by his presence.
I gathered up my courage and asked the werewolf in a calm tone. "Ok, we'll talk, nobody is going to stop you, go ahead."
The female werewolf looked concerned and was about to say something, but I was quick enough to stop her.
"I know what I'm doing, don't stop me. Now tell me, Mr... whatsoever, why did you want to meet me?" I waited for the bad werewolf to answer, he smirked slightly and took a step forward.
"So, it looks like you're having fun with the Star Clan. What gives?" He asked me that random question, making me chuckled slightly and looked back at him.
"I don't know, but what I can tell that they're so nice and kind to me, unlike you who's being arrogant to everyone here." I said it with a slight of sarcasm, he looked pissed off for a second, but he composed himself and looked back at me.
"Listen, human. I'm not here to hear your judgments or whatever it is. I just wanted to tell you one thing, you made a huge mistake of being with this useless clan." The whole werewolves growled loudly at him but he silenced them with his deep voice.
"They might be nice and kind to you like you said, but you'll get to know the big deal soon. Until then, we'll catch up. See you soon, Ms. Human."
The bad werewolf walked away with his crew and I got more confused. Was he trying to frame that I'm not safe at all? What did he mean by the big deal? The female werewolf held my shoulder and rubbed a bit.
"Don't listen to him, he's a one nut." She said, assuring me that I didn't take it seriously.
"Yeah, he really looks like one."
Although he looked dangerous and strong, why he didn't attack me? And, why did he want to meet me? Did this mean he also know who I am, like how Jack knew.
Oh, great. I totally forgot about Jack. I wondered what would have happened if he was here.

"Why didn't you guys tell me that earlier?!!!!" I could hear Jack screaming his frustration and anger out to his pack. Oh well, I think it's Jack's turn to get pissed off.
I was sitting on a bed, inside a wooden house alone, when he kept scolding the other werewolves outside. I had never seen him in this much of anger before. But the question was, why did he got pissed off just by hearing that bad werewolf's name? Did they have any problem between them? Am I missing something?
As I was in my pool of thoughts, I heard the door slammed opened with force, revealing Jack standing there with his rage. "Jack, what's wrong with you?"
I stood up from the bed and looked at him, his eyes were red and he was breathing heavily in rage. I felt like I'm seeing a different side of him. He looked up at me and walked slowly towards me.
I was frozen by his powerful eyes, so powerful that it could take away my soul. His eyes didn't leave from mine until he stood in front of me. I was fidgeting with my fingers, didn't know what to do when he was angry.
"Uhh...Jack.....I know you're angry, but can you please calm down?" I was trying my best to calm him down but it seemed to get worse, he suddenly kicked the bed in anger, startling the heck out of me.
"That idiot...he always gets on my nerves! If I had the chance to catch him, I could just scratch him with my claws and I'll....." His words were cut off when I immediately hugged him after gathering up my courage. He seemed to be lost for words but eventually started to calm down.
"What....what are you...." I stopped Jack from saying anything further.
I rested my head on his hard chest while I spoke up. "Please Jack, don't say anything for now. You need to calm down. I have no idea what is your deal but I'm begging you, I don't want you to be angry, it makes me feel worried about you."
For a moment, I can hear his heartbeat getting slower and calmer. It was a relaxing music into my ears. I knew Jack was stunned when I hugged him, but I'm glad he calmed down after my touch.
"I... I'm sorry, Sofia. I was....I didn't mean to get pissed off... I was just overprotective of my loved ones." I slowly retreated my head back, and stared at his sad eyes. "You don't have to apologize, Jack. However, don't misuse your words, because once it's been used, you can't take it back."
Jack looked down on the ground with a guilt on his face. I guess I successfully made him both calm and guilty at the same time. "I know, I'm sorry."
I smiled at his guilty face, I made him to sit down on the bed along with me. "Look, I can understand. You're scared that you will lose your loved ones. But, look around, you have a pack to love and support you, right?"
Jack chuckled and looked down to the ground. "They really like me as an Alpha, it's not what I wanted in the first place, but I'm glad they're here to support me."
"Yeah, thank god your life is not as hell as mine...I have no one to support me....or even love me....." I smiled painfully while looked down.
I had no idea about my family, I couldn't remember my parents, or did they even exist in this world. I don't care anymore, because I'm always alone in this world, with no care and love. I have only myself.
"I'm used to this useless life of my own, I still don't get why am I in this world in the first place. But.... it's fine..." I finished it with a tone of pain in my voice. Wait a second, why was I even telling Jack about my stupid life? It's not that he's interested to hear it, because it's actually not.
"Sofia....." Jack tried to reach out his hands to me but I moved away. "It's ok, you don't have to say anything, I know you would find me boring and useless. Sorry for bringing this topic up."
I stood up from the bed and I was about to leave the house, when Jack suddenly held my hand from behind. Damn, his hands were so rough, that it would be strong enough to rip my skin off.
"What do you think you're doing, Sofia?" I couldn't understand what Jack was trying to say. "What do you mean? I just mentioned about my boring life and....."
Jack suddenly stood up from his bed and held my shoulders. "You're not boring, or even useless. It's just that's how you feel, but not me, you're special....."
Hold my horses, did he just say I was special? Was he telling a joke or something? "Hehehehe..... you're kidding right?" I chuckled nervously but it actually made the situation awkward between us.
Jack suddenly hugged me without any warning. I was stunned for a second, due to the sudden physical contact with him. I could feel his masculine scent and his body against me. Was he really enough to be this masculine or what?
"Don't ever think that you don't deserve to live, Sofia. It's kind of breaking my heart to hear these painful things." He rested his chin on my shoulder and hugged me tightly. "Why not? I'm just telling the truth." I shrugged myself because I thought I didn't say anything wrong.
"Then what would I do without you by my side?! You're literally everything to me!!"
Wait, what?! What in the world did he just say?!!
