Chapter 122 - Chapter 122

City of Angels.

In the starry sky, Zhang Zheng gazed in awe at the Blade 7, which hovered like a sharp blade. The impact was profound.

In animation, Blade 7 appeared beautiful and its design captivating. But seeing it in person, Zhang Zheng finally understood what true astonishment meant.

The white blade, like a sword drawn from its sheath, had angelic wings on either side made up of hundreds of blue honeycomb-shaped hexagonal wormhole doors, coupled with a space-time shield for defense. Along with the angelic warriors of the Angel Race, even a single Blade battleship could pose a threat to most civilizations in the universe.

"So, what do you think? Shocked? This is my Blade 7, the most powerful combat celestial body in the known universe," Hikari's proud voice interrupted Zhang Zheng's awe.

"Shocked? What are you talking about? Everything of yours is mine," Zhang Zheng retorted, showing no modesty. After all, if it's his beloved's property, it was his by default!

"By the way, Hikari, if I could create Blade battleships based on Blade 7, do you think Queen Kesha would blame you?"

Zhang Zheng was already thinking about how to replicate the Blade series battleships, but considering Hikari's position, he restrained his impulse.

Hearing Zhang Zheng's words, Angel Hikari gave him a disdainful look with her beautiful eyes. "Even if you could master the Blade technology, with Earth's resources, even if you invested everything, it would still be insufficient to build a single Blade."

"Come on, let me show you around." She said, grabbing Zhang Zheng's hand and flying towards Blade 7.

"Hey, Hikari, answer me—will Queen Kesha blame you? If not, I might get a share of the Blade series battleships in the future."

Though Hikari was pulling him along, Zhang Zheng's focus was entirely on Blade 7. Its appearance was so stunning that Zhang Zheng wanted to build one as his own personal vehicle. After all, the strongest combat celestial body in the universe was far more impressive than any sports car—truly a man's dream!

"Well, if you can really create a Blade yourself, I don't mind. This Blade 7 is mine anyway. However, I can't just hand over the Blade series technology to you."

Hikari didn't understand why Zhang Zheng was so insistent on building his own Blade battleship. She thought that if he just asked, she could give him Blade 7.

"Alright, that's all I needed to hear."

Zhang Zheng was pleased with Hikari's answer. He hugged her and kissed her red lips, then released her and put on the Infinity Gauntlet.

"Hikari, stand behind me and keep your distance."

Zhang Zheng pulled Hikari behind him and focused his gaze on Blade 7. The Mind Stone on the Infinity Gauntlet began to glow with a gentle yellow light that enveloped Zhang Zheng completely. With the enhancement of the Mind Stone, Zhang Zheng's mental power seemed boundless.

Zhang Zheng's mental energy began to scan the structure of Blade 7, from the macroscopic framework to the microscopic atomic structure. Over time, Zhang Zheng thoroughly analyzed the construction framework and atomic structure of Blade.

Hikari watched Zhang Zheng with concern as he appeared to be dazed, though the yellow light surrounding him gave no clue to what was happening. His expression shifted from energetic to pale and weak.

"What's wrong? Why has your complexion suddenly worsened?"

Seeing the light dissipate, Hikari flew to Zhang Zheng's side and supported him as he wobbled.

"Ah, I was careless. I didn't expect Blade 7's structure to be so complex; my head feels a bit swollen."

Supported by Hikari, Zhang Zheng rubbed his temples with his free hand and shook his head. His mental development was quite limited, and the intense use of the Mind Stone had him feeling like his head might explode.

"What? You were analyzing Blade 7? Are you crazy? Blade 7 is known as the most powerful combat celestial body in the universe. If its structure were that easy to analyze, the universe would be filled with Blade series battleships by now."

Hikari was shocked by Zhang Zheng's audacity. She knew how complex Blade 7 was, and Zhang Zheng not only analyzed the macroscopic structure but even the microscopic atomic arrangement.

Hikari's concern was appreciated by Zhang Zheng, but now it was time for him to show off.

"Alright, Hikari, I'm fine now."

The Sentinel's body provided Zhang Zheng with unparalleled recovery abilities. In the time it took to talk to Hikari, he had mostly recovered.

Zhang Zheng closed his eyes, recalling the analysis data of Blade 7. Meanwhile, the Reality Stone on the Infinity Gauntlet glowed with red light, flashing rhythmically not far in front of him.

Hikari stared in amazement at the red light, her beautiful eyes widening, and her sensual red lips slightly parted. To her eyes, within the space illuminated by the red light, a ship identical to Blade 7 appeared from thin air, from the blade at the bottom to the body of Blade 7, the wings, and the top energy crystal.

An identical Blade 7 materialized before Hikari's eyes.

"Zhang Zheng…"

Hikari looked at Zhang Zheng in disbelief, opening her mouth but unable to speak.

Zhang Zheng appeared oblivious to Hikari's reaction and continued examining the two Blade ships. After a while, he made some modifications to his own Blade.

"Hmm, that looks much better."

Zhang Zheng was satisfied with his handiwork and nodded approvingly.

"Let's go, Hikari. Come with me to check out the Blade 8 I made."

Zhang Zheng had shamelessly named the copy Blade 8.

"Ugh, seriously?" Hikari was defeated by Zhang Zheng's audacity. "Don't think that just because you've engraved the number 8 on the exterior, it's really Blade 8. This is obviously just a copy of my Blade 7."

Hikari was at a loss for words with Zhang Zheng's shamelessness and found it too embarrassing.

Ignoring Hikari's complaints, Zhang Zheng directly grabbed her hand and led her into Blade 8.

"Zhang Zheng, how are you going to pilot the Blade?"

Hikari entered the command hall of the Blade, noticing the familiar internal style, slightly exasperated. The Blade 7 had been completely copied, down to the tables and chairs inside.

"Um, Hikari, can Blade battleships operate autonomously?"

Zhang Zheng hadn't thought about it much; he just thought Blade battleships were cool. Now, confronted with Hikari's question, he was at a loss. His original goal was the space-time shield, so he hadn't considered anything else.

"Tsk tsk, don't you have an intelligent system?" Hikari, unaware of Zhang Zheng's possession of the Skynet, teased him again. Now, even the most extraordinary events happening to Zhang Zheng no longer seemed strange.

"Yes, I do. If it can drive itself, then upload my Skynet to it!"

Zhang Zheng was uninterested in Hikari's teasing and just wanted to take Blade for a spin.
