Zhang Zheng's home.
Zhixin opened her eyes, and the first person she saw was Zhang Zheng. Seeing Zhang Zheng staring at her, Zhixin didn't hesitate to give him a warm smile.
"How do you feel?" Zhang Zheng asked, looking at Zhixin, whose smile was as radiant as a flower.
"After activating the engine, my energy limit has increased a lot, but now I'm feeling a bit unsatisfied. Could you share some of your energy with me?" Zhixin was very pleased with her current state but felt a little uncomfortable due to the lack of energy. So she directly asked Zhang Zheng for some energy, playfully.
She remembered that when they first met, Zhang Zheng had mentioned that while he might lack other things, he had plenty of energy.
"Sure, how much energy do you want? I have as much as you need," Zhang Zheng replied, enjoying Zhixin's playful request. He smiled and gathered a golden ball of energy in his hand, extending it towards Zhixin.
Zhixin didn't hesitate and started absorbing the energy.
"Zhixin, how do you feel about becoming the teacher for the Power of the Galaxy?" Zhang Zheng asked casually as he sat nearby, seeing Zhixin absorbing the energy.
"Sure, I was just thinking I'd like to learn more about anti-void power," Zhixin replied while continuing to absorb the energy. The energy Zhang Zheng provided was always the gentlest and purest, making it easier to absorb than even solar energy.
"Great, I'll call Dukao and let him know," Zhang Zheng said, pulling out his phone and dialing Dukao.
"Old Du, I've found an angel to be a teacher for the Power of the Galaxy. What do you think?" Zhang Zheng always spoke directly to Dukao.
Dukao, hearing this, fell into deep thought and replied, "Can we trust the angel?"
"My wife is going to be the teacher for Ge Xiaolun. What's not to trust?" Zhang Zheng retorted. "Honestly, Old Du, could you be a bit more optimistic? If the angel or I wanted to take out Ge Xiaolun and the others, do you think we'd need to resort to underhanded tactics?"
"You can ask Pan Zhen about it. He knows how many uninhabited planets were destroyed during our training sessions."
Zhang Zheng was getting tired of Dukao's constant suspicion. He hadn't questioned Dukao, an alien himself, yet Dukao was always suspicious of him. It was irritating.
So, Zhang Zheng decided to ignore him.
Dukao, sensing that Zhang Zheng's tone was off, quickly explained, "I didn't mean it that way. I'm just concerned about the angel. I didn't intend to question you."
Dukao didn't want to and didn't dare to fall out with Zhang Zheng, so he had to explain himself awkwardly.
"Old Du, the angel is interested in the Power of the Galaxy, the Styx is eyeing the Light of the Sun, and the demons are after Time Rose and the God of War from the Nuo Star. Who do you think you should be more wary of?"
Zhang Zheng didn't want Dukao to be too idle. He was busy helping Earth, and yet Dukao, who had nothing better to do, had the nerve to suspect him.
So, Zhang Zheng dropped this bombshell and then hung up the phone without waiting for Dukao's reaction.
"Hello? Hello?" Dukao called out, but Zhang Zheng had already hung up. He felt a wave of regret.
He knew that among these factions, the angel was the strongest but also the most reasonable. If the demons and the Gluttons had similar ideas, their only option would be to take action by force.
Now, Zhang Zheng didn't want to deal with this anymore, partly because of Dukao. Dukao suddenly felt a headache coming on. He had ruined a good situation with his own suspicion.
Dukao felt deeply regretful.
Leaving Dukao to his regrets, Zhang Zheng decided to bring Ge Xiaolun home tomorrow. The sooner Ge Xiaolun completed his training, the sooner Zhang Zheng would be free.
Zhang Zheng hadn't hidden his phone conversation from Zhixin, so she had heard everything Dukao said. Seeing Zhixin puffing up her cheeks in anger, Zhang Zheng pulled her into his arms.
"Don't be mad, Zhixin."
"Only those with a dark heart think everyone else is the same."
"Dukao is a war fanatic. If his heart wasn't dark enough, he wouldn't have survived this long."
Being held by Zhang Zheng, Zhixin's anger subsided. She was only upset on Zhang Zheng's behalf. Since Zhang Zheng didn't care, Zhixin decided not to care either. As for Dukao, the Sacred Right Wing Angel Zhixin thought, "Never heard of him. Just some random guy."
Zhang Zheng glanced at the sky outside and then at Zhixin in his arms. His thoughts began to wander. "Zhixin, we haven't seen each other in over two months."
"Mm," Zhixin murmured, lowering her head, still not catching on to Zhang Zheng's meaning.
"Zhixin, it's getting dark," Zhang Zheng gently reminded her.
"Mm."
"Zhixin..."
Zhang Zheng stopped hinting and, after setting up a space barrier in the room, gently pushed Zhixin onto the bed.
Morning.
Zhang Zheng looked at Zhixin, who was still asleep in his arms, and couldn't help but stroke her face gently.
He wondered if they could have children together.
Zhang Zheng was unsure. It wasn't that he was traditional, but he felt like something was missing without a child.
While Zhang Zheng was thinking about children, a soft hand grabbed his. Zhixin rubbed her cheek against his hand.
"Good morning, Zhixin."
"Good morning, Zhang Zheng."
Super God Academy.
After breakfast, Ge Xiaolun and the others were heading to training. Suddenly, a blue light gate appeared before them.
They were startled by the sudden appearance but quickly got into a defensive stance, prepared for whatever might come through.
"Damn, Zheng Ge, why do you have a different entrance every time? You scared the hell out of me!" They relaxed when they saw Zhang Zheng emerge from the gate. Zhao Xin exaggeratedly shouted.
"No kidding. Last time, it was a rainbow-colored beam of light, and now it's a blue light gate. It is pretty scary," Liu Chuang added, influenced by Zhao Xin.
"Alright, I'll be more mindful next time. I'm here to find Chuangzi and Xiaolun this time," Zhang Zheng said, tired of the group's constant complaints.
"Zheng Ge, just tell me what you need. Liu Chuang will not hesitate for a second," Liu Chuang said, loyally.
"Right, Zhang Zheng, don't be shy. Just tell us if you need anything. We're all friends here," Ge Xiaolun added, trying to act loyal and even pulling Zhao Xin and the others into it.
"Enough with the nonsense. If I needed your help right now, Earth would be finished."
"Xiaolun, Chuangzi, go pack your things. I'm taking you two for some special training and to develop your abilities."
"Zheng Ge, don't just take Xiaolun and Chuangzi. Take me and Yaowen too!" Zhao Xin protested when he realized he wasn't included in the special training.
"It's not that I don't want to help you. This time, I'm focusing on developing their unique abilities. Zhao Xin, Yaowen, your abilities have already manifested. You just need to keep training. Xiaolun here can't even handle the basics," Zhang Zheng explained patiently to Zhao Xin, understanding his frustration.
"Alright, I'll just keep running, then," Zhao Xin said, a bit dejected.
"Don't worry, Xin Ye. I'll bring you a gift when I get back."
"Yaowen, let Reina know for me," Zhang Zheng said as he opened another portal and took Liu Chuang and Ge Xiaolun back to their dormitory.
In no time, he brought the two back to his home.
