Morgana remained calm as the battle blades rushed towards her. She used her material reconstitution ability to transform two small demon claws into one large one, blocking the attack in front of her.
The clinking sounds of metal impacts reached Morgana's ears. She couldn't believe it as she looked at the blades piercing her body. The demon claws, which could block Kesha's silver wings, were pierced through by the Adamantium battle blades.
Just as Zhang Zheng was about to take advantage of the moment and shatter Morgana, she suddenly vanished backward.
"D*mn, I forgot that Morgana is the creator of the space-time gene. Even the current Rose's micro-wormhole applications can't compare to hers," Zhang Zheng muttered to himself.
Suddenly, Zhang Zheng's body bristled with goosebumps as a sense of danger arose. The Reality Gem's red light flashed, and a Vanadium alloy shield appeared behind Zhang Zheng.
A metallic clash sounded behind him. Turning around, Zhang Zheng saw Morgana swinging her arm, now equipped with a wrist blade, stabbing into the shield.
Without hesitation, Zhang Zheng raised the shield with his left hand and swung the Storm Battle Axe fiercely at Morgana with his right hand.
Morgana quickly retreated, flapping her mechanical wings to dodge Zhang Zheng's attack. The two engaged in close combat, their figures rapidly flashing through space, leaving behind trails of afterimages.
The Storm Battle Axe and wrist blade clashed in a series of impacts. After another clash, both combatants tactically retreated.
Zhang Zheng's hands glowed with golden light as a beam of golden light shot towards Morgana, while his telekinesis pinned Morgana in place.
Just as the beam was about to hit Morgana, a black vortex appeared in front of her, swallowing Zhang Zheng's beam. At the same time, Morgana freed herself from the telekinetic restraint and launched a dark purple energy ball at Zhang Zheng.
Unable to dodge, Zhang Zheng quickly assessed the situation. With Earth behind him, he didn't want to withstand the energy attack physically.
The Storm Battle Axe gathered a massive amount of dark energy, shooting a rainbow-colored beam towards the energy ball and Morgana.
No one knew how fast the Rainbow Bridge was, not even Zhang Zheng himself. Morgana couldn't react in time and vanished into the vastness of space.
Seeing Morgana disappear, Zhang Zheng smiled, pleased with his successful prank on her.
"Is Chixin there?" Zhang Zheng asked, placing two fingers on his ear.
He missed his little angel.
"I'm here," Chixin quickly responded upon hearing Zhang Zheng's voice.
Although they had been in frequent contact over the past two months, the feeling of missing him couldn't be avoided.
"Chixin, quickly inform Queen Kesha that I've sent her a big gift. She should go to the palace gates to receive it. It should arrive in about ten minutes," Zhang Zheng instructed.
Chixin, upon hearing that Zhang Zheng had a gift for Queen Kesha, remembered their first meeting with Kesha when Zhang Zheng had given her the so-called wedding gifts. Blushing, she said, "I'll go receive it. I'll personally deliver it to Queen Kesha."
Zhang Zheng, hearing that Chixin planned to receive the gift herself, quickly stopped her, saying, "No, this gift must be received personally by Queen Kesha. If someone else receives it, not only will Queen Kesha not appreciate my favor, but they might also pursue me across the universe."
Chixin, curious, asked, "Can I ask what the gift is?"
"Ah, it's Queen Kesha's long-lost sister. I happened to find her on Earth and am sending her back," Zhang Zheng said casually.
"..." Chixin
...
In the Angel City, Chixin, after hearing about the gift, hurriedly contacted her queen without even saying goodbye to Zhang Zheng.
There was no one else in Angel City who could handle Kesha's sister other than their own teacher and Queen Kesha herself.
"Kesha, are you there?" Chixin asked, hurrying to contact her queen.
Kesha, understanding Chixin's urgency, replied, "I'm here. Is there an urgent matter to report?"
Kesha knew Chixin well; if it were not something significant, Chixin would not use angelic communication but would come to the palace in person to report.
"Queen Kesha, Zhang Zheng said he sent Morgana as a gift to you. Morgana will be teleported to the palace gates in a few minutes. He asked me to tell you to receive it personally."
Chixin reported the situation in one breath.
Kesha, upon hearing this, felt speechless. Remembering Zhang Zheng's desire to avoid a war between angels and demons on Earth, she noted Zhang Zheng's name in her mental notebook.
"Are you kidding me? You don't want us to fight on Earth, so you send Morgana right to my doorstep? Are we supposed to fight in our own home?"
Though she thought this, Kesha prepared for the battle with Morgana and positioned herself at the palace gates to wait for the "gift."
...
Five minutes later, a rainbow-colored beam shot to the front of the palace.
An explosion rang out from within the beam, followed by Morgana's furious shouts: "You b*st*rd, Earthling. I will never let you off next time."
As the light faded, Morgana, still cursing Zhang Zheng, was stunned to see the scene before her. It was like being choked, leaving her speechless.
Morgana rubbed her eyes in disbelief. She saw her elder sister sitting there, smiling at her, with a row of high-ranking guardian angels behind her. The architecture looked very familiar—wasn't this Angel City?
"Ling Bing, long time no see. Can't you even recognize your own home?" Kesha teased, seeing Morgana's dazed expression.
"You b*tch, Holy Kesha, how did I end up here? Is this the work of that Earth god?" Morgana asked, somewhat reluctantly.
"Yes, he sent you as a gift. Right, Chixin?" Kesha teased Morgana and didn't forget to tease Chixin as well.
Both Chixin and Morgana had different reactions to Kesha's teasing.
Chixin blushed at Kesha's teasing, while Morgana's face turned ashen, her teeth nearly grinding to dust.
Morgana regretted her actions immensely.
"If I hadn't gone to Earth, I wouldn't have spread the faith in Huangcun. If I hadn't spread the faith, I wouldn't have met that b*st*rd Zhang Zheng. If I hadn't met Zhang Zheng, I wouldn't have fought with him. If I hadn't fought with him, I wouldn't have been sent to Angel City. If I hadn't been sent to Angel City, I wouldn't have …" Ling Xiangyu thought silently.
Kesha looked at Morgana's ashen face and said slowly, "Ling Bing, remember? Seventeen thousand years ago, in the hall behind me, you stabbed me with a sword. That sword really hurt my heart."
Hearing Kesha bring up the past, Morgana seemed to fall into some memories and said, "It's still your fault. If you hadn't forbidden me from studying Void Theory and expelled me from the Super God Academy, all those subsequent events wouldn't have happened."
"It's still because you wanted to research anti-angel dark knowledge. Life is precious, valuable, and noble. We angels should never study how to turn life into a tradable substance. What you researched, the so-called Void, fundamentally denied the meaning of life in the universe. That's why I prohibited you from continuing. Knowledge is one thing, but what you were doing was endangering the universe," Kesha rebutted Morgana.
She also reminded the angels behind her that while studying knowledge was fine, it should not endanger the entire universe.
