His whole body was trembling and he lowered his head unconsciously. He couldn't deny the strong urge to flee. That was his survival instinct that told him to save his life.
Meanwhile, Khaos walked toward them. He stopped three steps away from Caiden and Gayle.
"So, you are here?" He tilted his head. Not only his presence and his appearance that changed, but his voice too. It was deeper and heavier. "I don't remember, I allow you to come."
Caiden lowered his head even more, his chin touched his chest. He teeth cluttered, Khaos's presence was very strong to the point it was suffocating. How could that be possible?
Yet, despite the fear that exuded from Khaos, Caiden steeled his heart as he had to ask Khaos about his father.
