Raising her hand, Zuri cupped Khaos's face and smeared the lycan's face with blood. She was smiling playfully at him.
"You don't need to worry about me, I am fine, this is not my blood," Zuri said casually. She was beaming.
That statement made Gayle felt dread. The way Zuri spoke, the way she smiled, the way she didn't feel any regret or anything made him felt ill all over his body. He knew whose blood was that.
If it was not Zuri's blood, then it must be someone else's and he was right about it.
"I killed my maid," Zuri said easily, as if she was stating the fact.
"Why?" Khaos's expression didn't change even after he heard what happened. He tucked strands of Zuri's hair behind her ear.
"She combed my hair too hard. That's why I killed her. I don't like it."
