Khaos pinched her chin to lift her head, so she could look at him and then kissed her. This was very effective to stop Zuri from her long rambling about how unworthy and crazy she was. How those people were right that something was wrong with her head.
"So, you need this medicine to stop the voices in your head, hm?" Khaos pulled away slightly when he felt Zuri melted against his kiss, but he still cupped her face. She was still straddling him, sitting on his lap.
Zuri opened her eyes and found those beautiful grey eyes that stared back at her without any judgment. Or probably because it was Khaos's nature not to show his emotion, but either way, Zuri was grateful that she didn't need to see something that she had been dreading of.
"Yes…" She replied with ashamed. "My mother usually got the medicine from the healer in my pack, so I thought it's a common medicine." Zuri peeked through her long, wet lashes. "I stole your golds."
