Chaldea and the others witnessed a battle beyond their wildest imaginations.
A purple storm enveloped Tiamat. Around the wind wall, countless smaller hurricanes hung from the sky like chains, piercing through the wall and into Tiamat's body.
Simultaneously, purple lightning and meteorites rained down from the thunderclouds, bombarding Tiamat. While these strikes didn't injure the mother goddess, they did slow her advance.
In the distance, above Uruk, a colossal dragon-snake—its size expanded from the original temple to cover the entire city—reappeared, breathing out a magical aura that gradually turned into a purple sea of magic. This magical sea surged across the distance, countering Tiamat's chaotic tide.
Ophis floated about a hundred meters in front of Tiamat, her red-patterned robe glowing brightly. She extended her hands toward Tiamat, focused and determined.
"Can you really suppress Tiamat's divine power with magic alone? Is that even possible?"
The doctor's voice through the communicator was filled with disbelief.
What was unfolding before them was not a mere manipulation of nature through magic, but rather a simulation of nature's power using pure magic.
This approach required an enormous amount of energy, but it also magnified the power exponentially.
Ophis focused intently on the immense mother goddess before her. This was the first time she was using her full strength.
Previously, she had limited her power to avoid awakening the monster before her. Even in the underworld, her power was unbalanced and constrained. Now, free from the barriers of the world, she could draw upon her full strength. But facing Tiamat—who was even stronger than Great Red—required every ounce of her power.
Fortunately, Tiamat had not yet used her full range of abilities, which made the fight seem more manageable for now. However, despite the appearance of advantage, Ophis was only able to slow Tiamat down rather than defeat her.
"Aaaaaa───"
Tiamat, enduring a relentless barrage of energy strong enough to devastate all of Mesopotamia, took another step forward. Ophis's frown deepened as she clenched her fists tightly.
Suddenly, the world shattered. The space around them became chaotic, the boundary between heaven and earth blurred. Thunderclouds fragmented, and the earth cracked and floated, with black mud cascading like a waterfall.
As Tiamat advanced, Ophis's eyes narrowed, and she tightened her grip.
In the next moment, the land and thunderclouds shattered, and a thick purple beam of light appeared out of nowhere, enveloping Tiamat.
"Aaaaaaa—─!"
Tiamat's cry, now tinged with pain, echoed through the chaos.
"Hey, hey, the magic power of this attack alone is more than half of what's in Tiamat's body…"
Avoiding the aftermath at the battlefield's edge, the doctor's voice was tinged with terror.
Ophis's use of magic was not highly efficient, but the sheer quantity had elevated its power to an unimaginable level. Despite draining more than half of Tiamat's magical power, Ophis remained unyielding.
Ophis, while exerting immense energy, was not showing any sign of weakness. The adaptability of the Mother Goddess of Creation was becoming apparent.
Tiamat's resistance grew stronger, and the battlefield's scope expanded. Even if Uruk was protected by a barrier, the people outside would be at risk.
As Tiamat's shattered form began to rapidly recover, Ophis frowned.
A combination of the Creator God and human malice…
It seemed that direct confrontation was not viable. Ophis had to find another solution.
"Let me seal you out of this world!"
