Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: The Visitor in the Remote Village

"Uncle Anton~ Thank you for your care this year."

Xu Li stuffed the cigarettes and vodka he just bought into the hands of the middle-aged fat man squatting and smoking aside. Old Anton took the cigarettes and alcohol, looked at the Chinese teenager who was scratching his head and smiling sheepishly at him, remained silent for a while, then stood up and patted his shoulder: "Misha~ Don't blame Uncle Anton."

"Why would I blame you? If it weren't for your and Aunt Lyovina's care, I would have frozen to death on the street long ago."

Xu Li grinned and gave Old Anton a big hug: "It was my own fault to be reported by the guests. I didn't listen to you and went to the front hall. Fortunately, the boss has settled my salary for me. When I make a lot of money in the future, I will also open a magnificent hotel for Uncle Anton and Aunt Lyovina."

"You are a good boy. Uncle wishes you all the best in the future."

Anton's eyes were somewhat reddish: "Hurry up~ It'll be too late to catch the first bus to the train station."

"Well~ Goodbye, Uncle Anton."

Xu Li waved with the suitcase in hand, walked out of the small door of the hotel's back kitchen, and quickly walked towards the dim alley. After walking less than twenty meters, an old SUV parked in the dark suddenly opened the door, and three burly men rushed out of the car.

The leading man punched Xu Li in the back of the head. The other two men immediately caught Xu Li, whose body went limp, and stuffed him and his suitcase into the SUV. Only then did the leading man light a cigarette and slowly come to the small back kitchen door.

Old Anton looked at the bearded strong man and sighed: "Ivan~ Be nice to Makarov. He is a great young man who knows how to be grateful."

"Don't worry, Old Anton. This kid will be my brother-in-law in the future. How could I not be nice to him?"

Ivan took out a thick stack of red banknotes from his jacket pocket: "Take it. This is what we agreed on before."

Anton shook his head: "No need~ We are all from the same village. Keep it for them to build a house."

After saying that, he waved his hand, closed the small door, put the cigarettes and alcohol in his locker, sat on the chair, and silently lit a cigarette and smoked. This child Xu Li was really pitiful. His father handled a study visa for him and kicked him to Irkutsk.

He, who was unfamiliar with the place and didn't know Russian, was often bullied. Later, he just withdrew his living expenses from the bank, but was robbed immediately and beaten up. He shrank by the roadside like a poor little dog.

He and his wife happened to meet him on the way home and took him home to take care of him for one night. This child was honest and didn't talk much. He didn't want to go to school properly but insisted on learning cooking skills from him after class. Recalling the bits and pieces when he was around, he couldn't help shaking his head and smiling: "I don't know if this is good luck or bad luck. Anyway, he won't go bad."

Ivan was a child he watched growing up. There were seven brothers in his family, and there were also two twin sisters whose brains were damaged due to fever when they were young. When children grow up, they have to get married, right?

However, it's not easy to find men for the two girls with brain problems, especially in the remote countryside. He knew very well what kind of character the Slavic men were, and so did others.

Two months ago, his son-in-law got into some trouble. When he accompanied his daughter to the police station, he happened to meet Ivan. Unexpectedly, this kid became the police captain. It was at that time that the two talked about this matter.

Ivan helped him handle his son-in-law's matter, but he had to help him find an honest young man without a background. The first choice in Anton's mind was Xu Li, which led to the scene just now~

Ivan shrugged and returned to the car. A man in the back seat patted Xu Li's lower abdomen and laughed: "Brother~ What Old Anton said is really true. This kid is tender but as energetic as a young colt."

"Keep his documents and wallet well. The registration office is about to open. I've spent a fortune for my sister."

Ivan said as he stepped on the accelerator and drove the car out of the alley. When the car stopped at the foreign-related marriage registration office in Irkutsk, the sky began to dawn. After waiting for about ten minutes, a man waved at them to open the door. Ivan got out of the car with the materials prepared early and followed the other person in.

In less than half an hour, Ivan got into the car smilingly and handed the file bag to the man in the back seat: "Let's go home."

The car kept driving north. When Xu Li woke up drowsily, he saw two Slavic big men sitting beside him. One of them held a pistol and shook it in front of him: "Be obedient~"

"I still have more than 30,000 rubles on me. You can take them all if you want."

Xu Li secretly cursed his bad luck. The man beside him narrowed his eyes: "You, this little kitchen helper, are really rich."

"A large part of it is the living expenses given by my family."

His words made the three people in the car frown secretly. Didn't Old Anton say that this kid was alone? Now it turns out that his family sent him money. Isn't this cheating their family?

"But I haven't been in contact with my family for a long time."

Xu Li raised his hand and rubbed the back of his head: "If you want to kidnap me to ask my family for money, you can give up this idea. My father wishes I would never appear in front of him."

"Why?"

Ivan, who was driving, raised his eyebrows: "How could there be parents who hate their children? Did you make some big mistake?"

"He pissed off my mother and remarried with his mistress. My younger brother often laughed at me. I couldn't help but beat him up. As a result, I was kicked here to study by him."

Xu Li said with somewhat reddish eyes, and reached into his pocket. The man on the right had a pack of Russ cigarettes and a lighter in his hand and shook them: "It's not good for your health to smoke at such a young age."

Xu Li ignored him, took the cigarette, lit it, and smoked slowly. When he finished smoking, the strong man beside him took out a black bag and put it over his head...

The barking of dogs woke up the drowsy Xu Li. The black bag on his head was taken away by Ivan, who also patted his pale face: "We're home~"

"Home?"

Xu Li rubbed his eyes and got out of the car. The scene he saw was no different from a rural area in China. Several big dogs tied with chains were staring at him. Their fierce eyes made him uncomfortable all over.

He had been in the car for more than twenty hours and now urgently needed to use the toilet. Ivan took him to an independent small wooden shed: "There's paper inside."

"OK."

In the toilet, he thought of several ways to escape, but in the end, all were defeated by his weak body. The long ride and not eati
