Seline's voice pulled Kaelen back from the depths of his thoughts.
"Hey. Are you okay?"
Kaelen blinked, the vivid images of his attunement fading as he focused on her. He rubbed the back of his neck, shaking his head slightly as if to clear it.
"Yeah... yeah, all good."
Seline didn't look convinced, but she let it slide, leaning back on her hands and staring up at the bleak sky. Silence settled between them, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Kaelen sat there for a moment, weighing his thoughts, before finally breaking the stillness.
"Not curious about my attunement?" he asked, glancing at her.
Seline tilted her head slightly, looking at him out of the corner of her eye.
"I figure you'll tell me if you feel like it."
Her answer caught Kaelen off guard. He'd expected curiosity, maybe even prying questions. Instead, her nonchalance left him uncertain how to respond.
"Well…"
