Thane stood at the edge of the darkened dome, his heart was racing as he tried to catch a glimpse of Kaelen inside. The oppressive darkness seemed impenetrable, and he couldn't make out anything beyond its surface. But he knew that his friend was somewhere in there, fighting for his life. He clenched his fists, frustration bubbling over as he shouted his name into the abyss, but all that greeted him was an unsettling silence.
"Damn it, Kaelen! Can you hear me?"
