"More of them?"
Kaelen muttered, barely able to catch his breath as he assessed his options. The faceless figures that were surrounding him held back, not advancing immediately.
'What are they doing?'
They just simply watched, as though waiting for him to make his first move. He felt like a prey caught in a predator's gaze, every one of his instinct was urging him to run. Fighting wasn't an option; he couldn't bear the thought of killing them again, terrified that the nauseating feeling would surface once more.
'I have to get out of here.'
