As they walked through the crystalized forest, Kaelen trailed behind Morgan and Lisa, keeping a comfortable distance. The girl glanced back at him, her curiosity was piqued as she asked:
"So, what brings you to Solandris?"
The question caught Kaelen off guard, and he hesitated, carefully considering his answer. Many motives fueled his journey, but he settled on the simplest response:
"I'm looking for someone."
His tone making it clear that he wasn't keen to discuss about the topic further. Lisa picked up on the hint, and they continued in silence for a moment, each of them were lost in their thoughts.
Eventually, it was Kaelen this time who broke the silence.
"Do travelers often visit the kingdom?"
Morgan nodded to him.
"Quite a bit, actually. Solandris is a big trading hub, and the Hunter's Guild draws adventurers from all over. The royals host festivals too, and those attract people from beyond the kingdom's borders."
