Galandor called out to the boy in front of him with a measured but firm voice.
"Young man, can you hear me?"
The boy, however, remained still. His expression was blank and his eyes were void of emotion as if his consciousness had vanished, leaving behind only an empty vessel. Galandor's eyes narrowed, sensing something amiss. The air around the boy had shifted, thick with a dark, unspoken presence.
The unease gnawed at Galandor. His instincts warned him, but he pressed forward, raising his hand. With a simple gesture, he commanded the beast to attack.
The creature, reanimated by ancient elven magic, snarled viciously and obeyed without hesitation. Its once sluggish, decaying body now moved with unnerving speed, bounding toward the boy with its claws outstretched, eager to tear him apart. But the boy remained silent,, his body was eerily calm as the creature neared.
