With a simple motion of his hand, Galandor whispered something in the ancient elven tongue. The air around them grew unnaturally still for a moment, and then, with an eerie creak, the once lifeless corpse of the beast began to move. Its limbs twitched, first sluggishly, as though it were waking from a long slumber. And then, before Kaelen's disbelieving eyes, it rose from the ground, standing once more in a grotesque mockery of life.
The creature's hollow eyes which are now glowing faintly with a sickly green light, locked onto Kaelen with an unnatural hunger.
"Fuck..."
The beast let out a low, guttural growl, its once lifeless form was now vibrating with unnatural hunger. Without hesitation, it lunged at him with its claws extended and fangs bared, moving faster than Kaelen remembered. He barely had time to summon his black flames, which flared up in a furious burst around his hands.
