Chapter 21 - pull

Thinking of the divine food, Luis's excitement began to build. His eyes darted around, searching for his guards.

"Khazak, return to the city quickly and bring some big pots and the best cook from there," Luis commanded.

Without hesitation, Khazak obeyed. He had faced countless dangers alongside Luis and was the most loyal and brave warrior under him. Though Khazak's strength might not have been the greatest—being only a silver-ranked warrior—his loyalty and courage were what truly mattered.

As Khazak rode off, the ministers and guards slowly surrounded the boulder-like potato, their curiosity piqued by its enormous size.

"Let me check it," one guard said, stepping forward. He thrust his sword into the potato.

The sword slid in easily, and the guard carefully withdrew it, creating a large cut in the process. He peered inside the cut and saw the white flesh of the potato.

"What kind of divine food is this?" the guard asked, bewildered.

Luis, who had been observing closely, stepped forward and said, "This is a potato—a huge, divine potato."

The people around him gasped in shock, their eyes widening as they took in the sheer size of the vegetable.

While everyone was still processing the information, Thomas suddenly spurred his horse forward, riding away from the field. The others watched in confusion as he continued to ride further and further.

"Why is he going away?" one of the guards asked, puzzled.

After riding some distance, Thomas looked back, then turned his horse around and returned.

"Your Highness, it really is a potato. From a distance, it resmbles just like one," Thomas reported, his voice tinged with amazement.

Hearing this, everyone was even more shocked. Curiosity got the better of them, and they eagerly asked Luis for permission to examine the potato from afar. With his approval, the guards and ministers began to inspect the enormous potato, their awe growing with each passing moment.

Time passed slowly, and finally, Khazak returned to the field with big pots and a dozen of the best chefs from the capital.

"Your Highness, I have brought the pots and chefs," Khazak announced, bowing slightly.

Luis wasted no time.

"Excellent. Start cutting the potato and cook it for everyone," he ordered, eager to taste the divine food.

The chefs, though frightened, began the task of boiling the massive potato. They worked carefully, cutting the potato into smaller pieces and filling the large pots. The air was thick with anticipation as they toiled away, boiling the divine potato in dozens of pots.

After about an hour of waiting, a rich, earthy aroma filled the air—the familiar smell of boiled potatoes.

"Your Highness, the food is ready," one of the chefs said cautiously, glancing nervously at Prince Luis and then up at the mysterious door in the sky, which had been closed since they began cooking.

Every twenty minutes, the door would open, and God would poke His head through, checking on them. The sight of the divine being watching them so closely added immense psychological pressure to the chefs.

Luis approached the pots, his mouth watering at the scent of the cooked potato. Just as he was about to take a chunk form the pot, the mysterious door opened again, and Oliver poked his head out.

'It really takes a lot of time just to boil a potato in this world,' Oliver thought, growing impatient with how slow the process was. But now, seeing that the potato seemed ready, he decided it was time to speak with Luis again.

"Okay, now that it's ready, you can try it," Oliver's voice sounded in luis mind.

Hearing God's instruction, Luis nodded and reached into the pot. He carefully took a small chunk of the boiled potato and brought it to his mouth.

As soon as Luis took a bite, he felt a rush of hot energy flow through his body. The sensation was overwhelming, filling him with warmth and vitality. The energy moved faster and faster within him, stimulating every part of his body.

Luis couldn't help but sigh in enjoyment as the hot energy coursed through him, making his body feel incredibly comfortable. The energy flow intensified, and suddenly, he felt a breakthrough. The bottleneck in his warrior cultivation shattered, and his rank increased—he was now a silver-ranked warrior.

Feeling the surge in power, Luis laughed out loud, overwhelmed with joy. But he quickly stopped, realizing how inappropriate it was to act so casually in front of God. He knelt down, bowing his head in gratitude.

"Thank you, God, for such a great gift," Luis said, his voice filled with happiness.

He could barely contain his excitement. With this divine food, all the soldiers in their kingdom could rise in rank, and diamond-ranked warriors would no longer be rare.

Oliver, watching from above, was pleased. His theory about the relationship between higher and lower dimensions was at least partially verified. But now, another question loomed in his mind—why didn't the world treasure lose value in the Expanding Realm?

'I'll definitely investigate this as I grow stronger,' Oliver thought, determined to uncover the truth.

"Okay, now you can grow this potato yourself," Oliver said to Luis.

"I will be going for now, but when I return, I hope to see your kingdom become stronger."

Hearing this, Luis watched the sky as the mysterious door slowly closed. There was no sign of God anymore.

'God just warned me to make my kingdom stronger,' Luis thought, the weight of the responsibility settling on his shoulders.

'I need to become king now and claim all the territories of the Kano Kingdom.'

Luis was deep in thought, already planning his next moves, but the soldiers around him were in an uproar. They had just witnessed their prince eat the divine food and watched as his rank increased from bronze to silver warrior in an instant.

Their eyes gleamed with eagerness—they wanted to taste the divine potato too. But before they could act on their desires, Luis turned his gaze toward them, and they quickly restrained themselves.

Yet, despite their attempts to hide their feelings, their expressions betrayed their true intentions.
